Album To Check Out: Peaking Lights – Lucifer

Peaking Lights are Wisconsin-based psych-pop duo Indra Dunis and Aaron Coyes. Coyes turns the knob and fills the soundscape with reverbs and bass while Dunis provides the dreamy accompaniment to the hazy krautrock sound.

Lucifer is Peaking Lights‘ third full-length record, coming off the heels of their severely underrated sophomore effort, 936. Like it’s predecessor, Lucifer is filled with sun-drenched psychedelia-based pop that seems perfect for that lazy beach-side walk. True to it’s name though, there’s an added sinister witch-house vibe that surrounds and pervades the songs in the record that gives it character.

The whole album is available for streaming for you to listen below.
