Album To Check Out: Sunglasses – Swim/Namesake EP

Savannah-based psych pop duo Sunglasses are made up of college friends Samuel Cooper and Brady Keehn (aka 8000 bam bam and Baby Seal).  Back in 2010, they released their self-titled EP containing one of the most addicting party songs ever in Whiplash, before sort of disappearing.

Well, they’re back – sort of! Sunglasses are releasing Swim/Namesake, a cassette-only release EP containing the two eponymous songs plus remixes by Julian Wass and Marshall Trotter. Swim is a summer-ready beach-worthy fuzzy surf song while Namesake is a more rocking, hip-hop beat sampling, equally fuzzy mix of dance psych.
